What a great weekend we had this last weekend. The weather was good, even though it showered on and off Friday and Saturday. Rodney and I got a new screen house and he worked on that and it was finished on Saturday, and looks terrific. It will be a nice place to eat our meals without us being a meal for the voracious mosquitos. Sunday was our first garbage can turkey of the year. We had all our friends at the campground over, Chris and Ryan made an appearance and our neighbor Danny came down to see Rodney and I as well as our neighbors Mark and Donna. Everyone brought a dish and we did a number on the turkey. Campfire that night was fun, Mark brought down some copper tubing which we stuffed full of garden hose. When put in the fire, produces some really great colors.
Today we got together with Mark and Donna and took a beautiful motorcycle ride. Along the way, we saw so many other bikers, I couldn't begin to keep count. A stop off at Friendlies for lunch and ice cream and back to the campground in time to close up and head home before it started to sprinkle. I can only hope that all our weekends are half a nice. I'm already ready for Friday again.
