Hello all.....
Yep, I have finally gotten on the bandwagon and joined the computer age. Took me long enough, didn't it.
Anyway, here are my ramblings for what they are worth, hopefully they are worth a couple of chuckles now and then.
Our family are avid campers and have a seasonal campsite at a great campground in Maine. This is our third year doing this and we are finally feeling like family. Our two sons don't spend much time with us while we are at camp as they must feel like they have their own lives and forget about their parents. That is until trouble strikes and they are on the phone! This last fall my husband finally talked me into buying a new camper with a slide in the livingroom...how did I
EVER live without one all these years?!
The campground has some really terrific people that we have come to know well and we have great fun getting together to eat, have campfire and the most important part of camping....drink!!
We have recently been able to buy a slushpuppie machine and it is now taking residence at our campsite. Are we ever popular now!
Not that we weren't before, mind you...
We are having great fun experimenting with what will work and I can tell you without fail that we have made some outstanding pina coladas! Rodney(my husband) wants to have strawberry daquiries this weekend, so on with the experiments. It's a good thing that all our friends live within walking distance.....
